🗝️ A Quadrat Square (as pictured) which can also come in the form of a textile net is 1m2 with 100 squares which can be used to measure the following as factor of 100.
- Percentage Ground Cover
- Percentage Weed Cover
- Percentage Desirable Grass Cover
- Percentage Pests and Diseases
🗝️ Playing surface assessment is basically asking;
How much of the surface is actually grass, what percentage is desirable grass and how much is bare soil and weeds? The amount of pests and diseases for example amount of worm casts would also be captured.
